e-Griffin is an online construction cost estimating system which requires the user to enter the gross floor area and other dimensional information of the proposed project and to make selections from dropdown lists for the other details. The more data that is entered/selected, the greater degree of accuracy generated.

e-Griffin generates its own approximate quantities from the data entered and uses prices from its database to produce an elemental approximate estimate. Typically to complete all fields/selections if all details are known would take 15 minutes. However if some of the fields/selections are not completed due to the level of design not having been developed at that stage or due to time constraint, e-Griffin will still be able to calculate a result albeit to a reduced degree of accuracy.
